real estate

So I was talking to my friend yesterday because he had just attented a meeting for people who are interested in getting their real estate's license. He graduated with a finance degree from SJSU last year. Anyway, he was saying that there's a lot to go through if you wanna get into realestate, as far as becoming an agent. He wasn't sure if he wanted to invest that much time into the whole process, but he found out another way to make money in real estate. He found out that if he were to find a buyer for any property, all he had to do was tell one of the agents. If in the end, the person he recommended for the property buys, he gets 6% commission, as sort of a "finder's fee." That's a pretty good commission for just finding someone to buy property.
