CSU strike...

So I just read the article in the Mercury news talking about a strike that may occur in mid-March. That is a big sign how big problems are in the CSU system if professors and teachers want to strike. This will not only affect the faculty in the CSU's but also the students. It's been a rough raod for students also. Very semester since I've attended San Jose State, the tuition has gone up. Not only that, but the nooks required are way overpriced. Many students don't get too much financial help from their parents. Sure the school offers students to sell back books at the end of each semester, but half the time we can't sell the books back because a new edition has been published! So then we get stuck with books that we will probably never use again, but we paid nearly two-hundred dollars for. How ridiculous is that?! If the faculty goes on strike, we students area affected greatly. We are basically paying a high price for an education we may not get completetly if teachers go on strike.
